Dear Henchman Cover Reveal!

Dear Henchman Cover Reveal!

Dear Henchman
Published: 2021
Greetings! Welcome to the cover reveal for Dear Henchman by Hope Bolinger and Alyssa Roat!

How did we get here? Somehow, every post for the last two months has been a cover reveal! Although I love participating in them and supporting authors, I also miss reviewing. However, this season of life is rather hectic, so in an effort to enjoy this stage of my life, when something must get cut from the daily to-do list, it’s often reviewing unless I have a commitment. That being said, there will be a new review this Thursday (fingers crossed)!

Anywho, today, I’m so very excited to share the cover for Dear Henchman by Hope Bolinger and Alyssa Roat! If you’ve been around for even a little while, you know how much I love superhero stories! This series sounds so unique and humorous, and I can’t wait to try it out! Both books in the series are YA superhero chat fiction romances, a combination I don’t think I’ve ever seen before!

Are you ready to see the cover? Here it is!

Here’s the blurb:

Kevin and Himari didn’t plan to be heroes.

Henchmen and sidekicks aren’t supposed to fall in love. Or save the world. They’re supposed to brew coffee, take pics of their hero or villain for social media, and stay in the background.

That was sidekick-slash-frat boy Kevin and henchwoman-slash-tech genius Himari’s plan, until a taxidermy-collecting villain robs Kevin’s hero of his powers and leaves Himari’s villain wounded. Now it’s up to the sidekicks and henchies to save the world.

Without powers, they’ll go up against the Shadow Assassins (a deadly organization that can’t work a PowerPoint to save their lives), road trips-slash-kidnappings, and weird initiation rituals that may or may not involve singing campfire songs.

Himari and Kevin will battle the odds, their insecurities, and a strangely polite Midwestern villain as they discover if they have what it takes to profess their love through Mexican food metaphors—and save the world from a nuclear disaster.

I don’t know about you, but I think this looks like the perfect weekend read! The authors have so kindly provided me with an ebook of Dear Hero, its predecessor, and I should have a review out for it next month!

Dear Henchman comes out May 4th!

That’s all for now! Be on the lookout in the (very) near future for a cover reveal for another anticipated read!
