Greetings! Welcome to the cover reveal for Child of the Dragon Prophecy by Effie Joe Stock!

Greetings!

I’d like to say something about how I’m so surprised I stayed away this long, but honestly, this sporadic posting has become my new normal. For this stage in my life, I’m okay with that, though. There are few days that I have spare moments, and those I do have for blogging are usually spent working on reviews for books I’ve already read or catching up on ARCS. So until summer comes around (less than a month!) and while I get my posting schedule together, expect very little from me!

That being said, before I disappear again, I’m so thrilled to share the breathtaking cover for Effie Joe Stock’s Child of the Dragon Prophecy!  It releases on June 8th, and I’ll be reviewing it around then, too!

Child of the Dragon Prophecy will be available on Amazon, Bookshop (by BookBaby), Effie Joe Stock’s website, and other retailers. Follow @effie.joe.stock.books on Instagram for exciting updates including preorder availability, special editions, and preorder merch, and don’t forget to add Child of the Dragon Prophecy to your Goodreads list!

Child of the Dragon Prophecy is the first book in The Shadows of Light, and (get this!) Effie Joe Stock did the cover art and design for her own novel! It’s absolutely stunning, so without any further ado, here it is:

Doesn’t it look like a lovely, enchanted forest for adventuring?!

Here’s the summary:

A Future Foreseen. A Past Forgotten.

The savior child of the dragon prophecy is born.

Adopted by Centaurs then forsaken by humans, Stephania longs for a place to belong, but home keeps slipping away as fragmented memories. Those disturbing memories relentlessly haunt her, and the hometown where she has never felt welcome stands against her.

When Stephania seeks and escape, she unwittingly begins a journey of self-discovery, and her long forgotten memories, shape-shifting demons, a lyre surrounded by dangerous magic, and newfound lies emerge as threats that may break her or finally lead her to her true home.

Will Stephania be able to put aside her hate and pain to accept who she truly is or will she let it drag her and all of Duvarharia to its doom?

.

Sounds amazing, right?

Before I go, I just want to say a huge thank you to Effie Joe for being so understanding and kind as I’m a day late on the cover reveal!

I can’t wait to read Child of the Dragon Prophecy, and don’t forget to check it out on June 8th!

Until the craziness of the school year ends, farewell!
